Membership:
The Community Engagement Board (CEB) is typically comprised of emerging professionals aged 22-40; however, this is not a set requirement for membership. Members are recruited on a yearly basis each January.
CEB members must be able to commit to bi-monthly meetings and are encouraged to participate in fundraising and outreach events out in the community. Members are also encouraged to make a small financial contribution to project:HOMES as they are able to.
Members benefit from an abundance of volunteer opportunities, networking with other Richmond-area professionals, an increased awareness and knowledge of housing issues, and improved leadership and non-profit management skills. Monthly time commitment is limited; however, those taking on a leadership role within the board should expect a larger time commitment.
