The Weatherization Assistance Program is a federally funded program administered by project:HOMES that assists low-income households with energy improvements in their homes at no cost to them.

*Services rendered are dependent upon an energy assessment by certified staff, as well as current DHCD guidelines.

APPLY NOW!

To apply, please submit this application along with the following documentation:

  1. Proof of income for every member of the household 18 years of age and older:​​​

  • 3 months of bank statements showing direct deposits

  • A copy of your 3 previous pay stubs

  • A copy of your social security benefit statement for current year

 2.   A copy of past 3 months of all utility bills showing how            much energy your home currently uses. Must be the full          page.

  • Electric, gas, oil, propane, wood

  • For gas heat, please include an additional 3 previous heating bills within the past 12 months. 

3.   Proof of homeownership, which can be one of the                       following:

  • A copy of the front page of your Deed

  • A copy of your Tax records showing ownership of the home

  • A copy of the certificate of title for mobile homes

Please note that in order to process your application we require a notarized letter from other homeowner(s) not living in the household giving permission for Weatherization.
